ShredxXx: The Story

Formed in 2015 at Kolkata, ShredxXx was a straight up old school metal band with elements of Indian music (characterized by our use of Electric Sitar over heavy metal riffs). They released their debut self-titled EP in September 2016 which helped them gain a solid footing in both the local and international music scene with reputed e-magazines covering their releases. Post this, ShredxXx shifted base to Pune and underwent a few lineup changes while working on new material. They just released their debut LP 'Celestial Prophecies (Vol. 1)' on 7th Jan, 2022 in association with Keshav Dhar from Skyharbor who co-produced, mixed and mastered the album. Two singles titled 'The Prodigal Sons' and 'A Tale of Two Lions' along with a live in studio version of the power ballad 'Unrequited: Desires' were also released from 'Celestial Prophecies (Vol I)'. Currently the band is working on some singles, a new EP and the 2nd installment of Celestial Prophecies.
